Pants Size?

This Chart made me think three things:

1.  Wasn’t there a Seinfeld episode where Jerry was caught changing the “number” on his Levi’s?

2. I was so proud that I still wear the same size (Gap) jeans that I did in College…thanks a lot Style Blog for ruining everything.  :-)  Why don’t you just put out a chart about how Santa Claus is a big fat fraud and can’t possibly exist.

3.  It’s really important to have an honest “measuring tape” to measure ourselves with.  (And not just our waist sizes).   God’s unchanging words in scripture are the only things we can trust to “measure” ourselves by.  Society changes.   Morality changes.  Public opinion changes.  The only way we can be sure to live life in a way that pleases our creator, is to measure ourselves against scripture.

“In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
      and the heavens are the work of your hands.
 11They will perish, but you remain;
      they will all wear out like a garment.
 12You will roll them up like a robe;
      like a garment they will be changed.
   But you remain the same,
      and your years will never end.  Hebrews 1:10-12
