Reagan (she’s not sleeping sitting up…she just blinked) has been putting on “Jesus Plays” with her Mr. Potato heads in my office. (Jesus is the one with the purple shoes and the green hat.) Her “theology” may not be exact but she certainly captures the spirit of Easter.

In Reagan’s “version” Jesus dies, the angel gives him “pink milk” and he comes to life again. The angel then announces to the world, “I’ve got good news and bad news… Jesus is alive for “eber”…but we’ll have to “glue” his nose back on”. I don’t think Michele and I have laughed so hard or been so proud of our baby in a long time.

In case your wondering… the Easter Bunny is there during the “play” but he really doesn’t have anything to do with the story…kind of like in real life.
