It’s always great to have church at a theater, every seat has a cup holder, our “pews” rock and recline, and who doesn’t like the smell of freshly made movie popcorn in the morning. :-)

Sometimes…like this month…it’s better than great…it’s awesome!  This August we’ll be sharing our 6th Annual “At the Movies” sermon series…on the Giant screen…while downing some free movie theater popcorn.   Whether you’ve been attended every one of our “At the Movies” series, or this will be your first experience, it’s not to be missed.  Movies lend themselves so well to illustrate fascinating and life-changing principles from the Bible, and over the years this series has become a crowd favorite at actionchurch.

So, here’s your homework between now and Sunday: First, gather some friends and watch this weeks movie “The Dark Knight Rises” (complete listing of movies for the month here)  Then, invite those friends to come along as we play clips from the movie and talk about how the Bible says you can discern good from evil…heroes from villains (even in real life when they don’t wear a mask or a cape)

Sunday will also feature some great rock n roll from the Ben Rothermel, and actionkidz will be finishing their “Spy Chase” Series.  There’s really just too much going on Sunday to list…so you probably should just make plans to be there.  As always there will also be loads of yummy Maple Donuts, Muffins, Bagels, Hot Coffee, water, MOVIE POPCORN!  and great actionchurch people to hang with.   It all starts at 10:30 am  at Frank Theaters Queensgate (Directions).
