It’s spring.  (At least that’s what my calendar says)  But this is the view I see when I look out my back door.  What I’m seeing isn’t exactly matching what I’m expecting spring in Pennsylvania to look like.

However,  I DON’T expect it to snow forever.  I DO expect spring to come soon.  It’s not a guess…or a feeling…or a prediction…I just know that God created spring to follow winter…EVERY TIME.   It may seem delayed.  It may not get here when I (or my fellow “scientists” :-) ) expect, but it WILL happen!

Living by faith is like that.   Even when I can’t SEE the results that I expect, even when God’s promises SEEM to be delayed or “late”, even when my reality isn’t matching what my calendar says, I can still trust God.   Just like I can be SURE that spring is coming.

He changes times and seasons;
    he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
    and knowledge to the discerning.
