This coming Sunday is absolutely one of my favorite days of the year.  Not because it’s December 11th…or almost Christmas.  This Sunday is special, because it’s the day we honor the amazing crew that work and sacrifice to make actionchurch happen each week.

Crew members are the people who get there first…and leave last.  Crew members choose to lead, love, and influence our children…instead of being part of an actionchurch service themselves.  Crew members carry the heavy stuff in…and then turn around and carry it back out.  Crew members are the ones with an emergency plan for their emergency plan…to make sure that actionchurch goes on “live” without fail on Sunday morning for over 3 1/2 years in ALL kinds of conditions.  Crew members are the first to find a seat for guests…and the last to take a seat themselves.

This year over 50 people served on Crew level positions at actionchurch.  This Sunday we will honor them with a party and a gift to express our appreciation.  I hope you’ll take the time to stop and thank a Crew member on Sunday and let them know you appreciated what they’ve done to make actionchurch possible this year.   You will know who they are…
