I hope you are checking out Proverbs Chapter 12 today in the ‘verbs.  I’m not sure if something can be “choc-full” of anything other than nuts…but if so…chapter 12 is “choc-full-o-wisdom”.  

There’s one word in the whole chapter that I think might be the MOST important.  The word is “and”.   Sounds simple, but believe me it matters.

Here it is in verse 14:

¹⁴ Wise words bring many benefits,
      and hard work brings rewards.  Proverbs 12: 14  (NLT)

The New international version (NIV) reads this way:

 ¹⁴ Many good things come from what a man says.
      And the work of his hands rewards him. Proverbs 12:14

 What you say is so important.  AND, you need to work hard to be rewarded.  Both are important.   Wise plans aren’t enough without hard work.  The hardest work without a wise plan and good communication leads to failure.  

The key to success is talk…AND…action.
