This Sunday @ actionchurch

Have you ever opened a box filled with the pieces of your next bookcase, desk, or intertainment center and just stared at the contents?  Ever wondered how those parts, and parts lists, bags of hardware, instructions, (and hopefully one tiny allen wrench) can actually come together to become the item pictured on the outside of the box?  Ever been afraid that you would NEVER finish the project…that you weren’t “handy” enough…that because you’ve never assembled something like this before…you might be left with a pile of manufactured lumber and cardboard instead of a sleek new stand for your flatscreen?

If you’ve felt ANY of those thing…you are not alone.  And, last week we learned that ALL of God’s gifts come “*some assembly required”.  So, this week at actionchurch, we’ll spend our time exploring how to get started…how to overcome our fears…how to “unbox” God’s gifts and get started on life-changing projects just like the people of Israel did in the story found in the book of Joshua!

This Sunday will also feature music from our friends in the Mark DeRose Band, so it would be a great week to invite that friend, family member, or co-worker to experience your church for the very first time. It all starts at 10:30am at Frank Theaters Queensgate (DIRECTIONS), and as usual, the actionkidz crew has a fantastic hour of learning and fun planned for your kids (infant to 6th grade) as well.
