This Sunday is the final week of the “In God We Trust” series, and we’ll be discussing the number one reason you can trust God…no matter what.   This month we’ve learned three simple but powerful ways from the prophet Isaiah to keep your sanity (and faith) in the midst of this contentious election season:

Don’t think like everyone else thinks.

Don’t fear what everyone else fears.

Fear only God, and trust him to protect you.   (Inspired by Isaiah 8:11-13)

Sunday we’ll talk about what “everyone” fears…whatever their political party…whoever their candidate is this election.  We’ll look back through history at how the prophet Isaiah’s prophecies came true in spite of…and often because of…Bad leaders, bad policies, and even bad times.   Those who fear God instead of men have NOTHING to fear, and everything to look forward to!

This week our friends from The Go Around will be our musical guests, and actionkidz has another great week planned in their “What’s in the Bible” teaching series.    As always there will also be loads of yummy Maple Donuts, Muffins, Bagels, Hot Coffee, water, and great actionchurch people to hang with.   It all starts at 10:30 am at Frank Theaters Queensgate (Directions).   Be there…and bring someone(s)!
