Last Sunday at actionchurch we started a brand new (but VERY timely) sermon series about the anger and OUTRAGE we all experience in life…and especially online via social media.   If you missed it (podcast available here) we also gave everyone attending a homework assignment in the form of a single proverb:

Sensible people control their temper;
they earn respect by overlooking wrongs.   (Proverbs 19:11)

Whether you’ve struggled with controlling your temper this week, completely nailed the challenge, or threw a wrench out into your driveway in a fit of anger (as your pastor did this week) you will NOT want to miss this sunday!   This week we’ll talk about why we get angry…really.  And, why anger really isn’t our problem.  And, finally, this week I’ll be sharing a temper control strategy from Jesus’ brother that works EVERY TIME it’s tried!
