Thanks to everyone who came out to help actionchurch celebrate our fourth birthday. It was so much fun to see so many old friends…and meet so many new ones at the party last night. As I left the theater with a 3-D induced head ache (turns out I lost a contact lens), and an uncontrollable urge to talk like Jar Jar Binks, I said a prayer of gratitude to God for making such an improbable thing…that a church like actionchurch…a church with a death-star birthday cake :-)…a church made up of messed up, broken people like me… would not just survive- but prosper for four years is truly a “but God moment” that happened in our lifetime!

Special thanks to Kevin and all the folks at Frank Theaters. They donated TWO theaters, the party room, and even gave out prizes to all of our guests. I find their generosity especially amazing since actionchurch doesn’t solicit corporate donations…the theater actually offered the movie night WITHOUT being asked. We are so blessed to partner with them.

Finally, thanks to everyone who invited their friends and family …everyone who works so hard each week…everyone who donates their hard-earned money to make sure that a place like actionchurch exists in York County.

Happy Birthday actionchurch.  I can’t wait to see what happens in the next four years as we Love God, Love People, and take action together!
