This Sunday @ actionchurch

All of God’s gifts come “some assembly required”.

For the last three Sundays we’ve been exploring that simple (yet powerful) idea.  It takes faith to believe that God is the designer, creator, and architect of our lives.  It takes faith to believe that the Bible is the “instruction manual”,  and that because God is good, we can trust him to put everything we need “in the box”.  (God never forgets a part…or the allen wrench!)  As followers of Jesus…we can think of NO BETTER WAY to live.

Except…when it isn’t.

Except…when the instructions seem confusing…and pieces seem to be missing.

Except…when things happen that cause our “assembly” to be irreparably spoiled or broken.  When we can see NO WAY for things to EVER be right again. When we fail…begin to doubt…begin to lose faith.

This Sunday we’ll discussing ALL of those things…and an amazing story from the Book of Joshua that still brings us hope (and renewed faith) today!   We’ve also got some great music planned for you from our good friends The GoAround, and all the “normal” food and fun that makes actionchurch anything but a “normal” Sunday morning at church! It all starts at 10:30am at Frank Theaters Queensgate (DIRECTIONS), and as usual, the actionkidz crew has a fantastic hour of learning and fun planned for your kids (infant to 6th grade) as well.
