Most of us have have a story (and an extra allen wrench or two) from assembling a “Some Assembly required” item. Maybe it was a sleek bookcase from that hipster nordic store, or a cheap bathroom cabinet from that giant “mart” store. Maybe it went perfectly, and you celebrated being “handy” afterward. Or, maybe it was a nightmare…a black hole of time and effort…missing one piece of hardware critical to finishing the project. Whether you are looking forward to your next assembly project, or refuse to buy anything that comes with a instruction booklet and an allen wrench, chances are you are fully acquainted with the “Some Assembly Required” concept.
This Sunday we’ll begin a series of sermons titled (you guessed it) “*Some Assembly Required”. During the series we’ll each learn personally (and as an church) something crucial about God and how he relates to us, thanks to that simple phrase that we’ve seen printed on boxes filled with numbered parts and bags of hardware countless times*…
We’ve also God some great music from our friends in The Pursuit, and since this is the beginning of a new series, it would be a GREAT time to invite your friends who are curious about why you keep coming back to actionchurch each week. It all starts at 10:30am at Frank Theaters Queensgate (DIRECTIONS), and as usual, the actionkidz crew has a fantastic hour of learning and fun planned for your kids (infant to 6th grade) as well.
*Some assembly required.
