Phil Herman Funeral Service

Phil Herman

This past Sunday morning, Michele’s Father Phil passed away after a long and difficult battle with ALS.   I love this picture that Garrett snapped last year, because it reminds us of times when even though he was failing physically, he was still at the back of the truck during load up, directing operations and yelling at crew members for leaning items against the trucks paint…he REALLY didn’t tolerate that. :-)

Phil was loved and will be missed greatly, but we are blessed and thankful that he is at peace and no longer suffering.  Friday we will be having a simple grave side service for him, and Sunday I’ll share a little more about how God is faithful and good even in the WORST of situations.  Do “God moments” still happen?  Yes.  Absolutely.

Here’s a link to the obituary:  Philip D Herman  (go there)

Service details:

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 24, 2013 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 3101 Deininger Road, York (corner of Deininger and Mt. Zion Roads.) Directions   Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
