Sunday at actionchurch

It’s hard to believe this is the final Sunday before the Thanksgiving Holiday, but I promise you, this is not one you will want to miss at actionchurch.  This week we’ll continue the YOLO (you only live once) series by talking about worry.  Worry is a HUGE waste of our ONE life, but at times it actually seems like the “responsible” thing to do. (Isn’t NOT worrying about the future actually what causes people to do really stupid and reckless things in the name of YOLO?)  Sunday we’ll talk about some really insightful teaching about worry from Jesus…along with an example of putting his anti-worry teaching in action from HIS life.  Jesus’ words (and example) are amazingly helpful and useful, even thousands of years after he shared them with his closest friends.

Sunday we will also have an update about Operation Sandy Thanksgiving, and a final opportunity for you to help those who are STILL suffering the affects of Superstorm Sandy in our neighboring state New Jersey.   We’ll also hear some new music from Three Shades of Blue, andactionkidz has another great week planned in their “What’s in the Bible” teaching series.  As always there will also be loads of yummy Maple Donuts, Muffins, Bagels, Hot Coffee, water, and great actionchurch people to hang with.   It all starts at 10:30 am at Frank Theaters Queensgate (Directions).   Be there…and bring someone(s)!
