She’s a kind soul with a bubbly personality and a musical woman who helps out with our actionkidz. I’d like to introduce you to Kate Jones!

What do you do here at actionchurch?

• I help out with actionkidz.

How did you first get involved?

• Over at Fat Daddy’s, they needed to help and I offered to help while Jeff and Chrissy were there.

What is your favorite thing about actionchurch?

• I love everything about actionchurch. I believe we are welcoming, open, relaxed, and fun! We are a fun church! It’s like having a big family.

What do you do outside of actionchurch?

• I teach string lessons and work at Brown’s Orchards. I play with the York Symphony Orchestra and the York College Orchestra.

What are your hobbies?

• Playing music, bowling, and mini-golfing!

Has Josiah made you cry?

• I don’t think so, but sometimes just looking at him scares me.

What is the most memorable moment you have of Pastor Don?

• Not so much a moment, but just the fact that Pastor Don is so down-to-earth, real, and transparent. He is a real person who makes mistakes just like every one of us, and he is honest and open about it with us every week.

How has actionchurch changed you?

• It has allowed me to feel like a part of something much bigger and the fellowship has helped me grow.

Other than Jesus Christ, which biblical figure would you want to have dinner with?

• Noah, to hear what it was like to be the only person on earth and how he was able to trust God in that situation.

Do you have a favorite scripture or some words of wisdom that you would like to share with the people of actionchurch?

• ¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ¹² Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. ¹³ You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. ¹⁴ I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity.^[a] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” (Jeremiah 29:11-14 NIV)
• Words of Wisdom: Get involved because that really changes the whole experience.
