I’m not exactly Saul of Tarsus, but I have persecuted iPhone users. I laughed at their religious ferver for apple products. I have smugly used my “all business” blackberry even though everyone around me told me how their iPhones had “changed their lives”. I wasn’t going to be swayed.
Then I saw the light. (Actually I dropped my blackberry in my coffee mug and needed to replace it-no lie ) ,but saying “I saw the light” sounds less clutzy.
Last night Michele and I walked out of the at&t store both clutching our new iPhones. And yeah, I have to admit they are pretty great. I already have an app that makes it much easier to estimate painting jobs, and Michele has a bar code reader app that she can’t wait to use to find the best price on everything. I found a Tivo remote app that means I’ll never search through the couch cushions again. And, don’t gloat, but our new mobile plans are even slightly cheaper…
I shared all that to say this. Life change is possible. Even for the hardest headed, hardest hearted folks. If you keep GENTLY sharing your life, and showing that you have a better way of living, those around you ARE WATCHING. Josiah, Garrett, Ryan, Tyler, and Jeff have finally “converted” me. Don’t give up on your friends and family!
I know that getting an iPhone isn’t exactly accepting Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life…ok, to some of you it practically is :-) It is, however, definitely “life change.” And yes, It CAN happen…
I’m
So proud of yu hahaha
