I’ve started to use stuff from our junk drawer.  Started to think “Do we have one of those?” before purchasing a new tool or gadget.  (I bet I have 50 vise grip pliers “lost” in various areas of our house, garage, and barn.)  My “biggest” concern is no longer “how can we new stuff-and where do we put the old stuff when we get it?”  I’m repairing stuff instead of discarding it and buying new…I’m starting to become more “Thrifty”

 I can see good things coming from the “new thrift” in our nation.  We can become less extravagent…but not “stingy”.  Generous…but not wasteful.  More gratitude for things we have…less “lust” for the things we don’t.   What do you think?
