This Sunday morning we’ll continue rolling out the “POWERDOWN initiative” for the next five years (and beyond) of actionchurch.  This episode will handle one of the most tricky…and useful…principles Jesus used to transform his “band of misfits” disciples into an organization that still exists over two thousand years later.  If you’ve ever heard the term “Wise (or shrewd) as a serpent, and harmless as a dove” and just thought it sounded like the strangest animal combination since the Puggle…you won’t want to miss this week.  If you’ve ever wondered if its possible to exert great power without being a bully (and/or having spider-powers) you won’t want to miss this week. If you’ve ever wondered how people who were NOTHING like Jesus, LIKED Jesus, you definitely won’t want to miss this Sunday.  You’ll also hear a story you may have heard about Jesus in a brand new way…and a story from the news that you probably HAVEN’T heard.
